Meat Kiev - Risoles

Ingredients

1 egg (beaten)
1 tbsp water
Bread crumbs
Oil for frying

Skin:
2 eggs
150 gram flour
500 cc milk
1/2 tsp salt

Filling:
1 chopped onion
1 cup minced meat
1/2 cup diced carrot
1 tsp salt
1/4 tsp nutmeg
1 tbsp flour
Pepper
Sugar

Preparation

  1. Mix all skin ingredients using a mixer. Fry on the griddle to make 15 layers.
  2. Stir fry onion, add carrots and the meat, then the milk. Add the spices and thicken with flour. Stir well.
  3. Put mixture in the fried layers of batter. Fold and set aside. Mix beaten egg with water. Roll folded Meat Kiev in bread crumbs. Fry in hot oil.
