Ingredients
2 tbs Corn or peanut oil4 Shallots, sliced
2 Garlic cloves, sliced thin
1/4 cup Chopped ripe tomato
3 tbs Sweet soy sauce (Kecap Manis)
1/2 tsp Salt
1 tbs Water
4 Hard-cooked large eggs, peeled and halved lengthwise
Preparation
- Heat the oil in a skillet. Stir-fry the shallots and garlic over moderate heat for 2 mins.
- Add the tomato, Kecap Manis, salt, and water. Stir-fry for 2 mins. or more.
- Put the eggs in a serving dish and pour the sauce over them.
- Serve warm or at room temperature.
