Kalasan Fried Chicken

Ingredients

1 whole chicken (approximately 1 kg)
500 cc coconut juice
1/2 tsp baking soda
4 cloves minced garlic
salt
oil

Preparation

  1. Boil chicken in coconut juice, baking soda, garlic, and salt until the chicken is tender and the liquid evaporates.
  2. Deep fry the chicken until it's yellowish brown. Brush the cooked chicken with the remaining juice to make it look moist.
